January 2010

I am still excited about the great 10th Anniversary Reception and Dinner on November 12th. These events were entirely planned and carried forward by members. Thanks to everyone for a great job.

Over the last few weeks I have had an opportunity to talk with many of our sponsors. They were so pleased to be invited to be our guests at the Reception and have been very complimentary about our leadership program.

You all are really making a difference -- whether you are running for office or providing leadership in many ways within your communities and the Republican Party.

Thank you for your leadership and my best wishes for 2010!

Jo Ann

As we begin 2010, we can look back with pride at our 10 classes and what they have accomplished.  We are all very proud of the members and their involvement in their communities and their party.  2010 is shaping up to be a “changing” year for the GOP.  The JADOLI members have already demonstrated their recognized importance to the party—being asked both to become candidates or to fill key roles in candidates’ campaigns across the state.

The seeds are being planted.  It is now up to all of us to nurture them to their full potential.

May your new year bring you health and happiness—and GOP success in the November election!

Betty

Kevin DeWine Attends the 10th Anniversary Celebration
Note from Kevin DeWine's Leadership Update November 2009 ...
Back here in Ohio, I was honored to attend the 10th anniversary celebration of the Jo Ann Davidson Leadership Institute on Thursday. Our party owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to former House Speaker Jo Ann Davidson for the unprecedented and important work she's done in the last decade to inspire women to get trained and involved in the political process. Jo Ann and former Attorney General Betty Montgomery have worked tirelessly to build the Institute from a small program for a handful of women to a national model for other states to follow. Congratulations to them all, and here's to another successful decade!
